About Us
OLiV began its journey in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, where its founding partner opened the first OLiV Tasting Room retail store in 2011. Since then, the business has grown and evolved, now operating three brick-and-mortar locations—two in Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON, and one in Regina, SK—along with a thriving online store.
We work directly with our suppliers to source the highest quality extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) and balsamic vinegar. Our "branch to bottle" approach ensures a strong and consistent supply chain while maintaining exceptional product quality. Each batch is bottled in Canada and carefully tasted by our flavour specialists to guarantee the finest culinary experience for our customers.
What sets OLiV apart from major competitors is our commitment to Canadian production. While we import only the raw EVOO and balsamic vinegar, all flavouring and bottling take place in the Niagara Region, making our products proudly "Made in Canada" and supporting the local manufacturing economy. Our flavour specialists collaborate with Canadian flavour houses to craft our unique, natural infusions.
To maintain year-round availability and the highest standards, our extra virgin olive oil is sourced from various countries based on harvest times and quality. This diversified approach allows us to meet customer demand that single-source suppliers simply cannot.
